RSEA Hire has an experienced team of hire specialists who provide consultation on projects and onsite, hands on support. When you hire your safety equipment from RSEA, you are partnering with safety experts.

**The Role**

We are seeking a motivated Driver/Yardsperson who is willing to be hands on and a strong communicator to join our NSW Hire team. The nature of the fast paced hire industry requires flexible people who can adapt quickly, and think on their feet.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the NSW Hire Operations Manager, your key duties will include:

- Delivery of road safety equipment including plastic barriers and VMS boards
- Dispatching of hire equipment
- Loading and unloading of equipment
- Quality checks
- General yard duties
- Carry out minor repairs to VMS boards (clean solar panels, replace globes in tail lights, check water levels in batteries, repair trailer plugs etc.) and fill in maintenance log
- Carrying out cleaning and repairs to plastic water-filled barriers and associated products
- Carry out quarantine process to plant equipment and fill in maintenance log

**Skills / Experience / Qualifications**:
To be considered for the position you will:

- Current valid drivers license
- Experience in a freight/delivery environment including loading & unloading and multi drop deliveries with good knowledge of the Metro area.
- Mechanical aptitude desirable.
- White card desirable.
- Customer service with strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
- Mandatory police check.
- Good attention to detail.
- This role involves manual handling, you will be required to undergo a pre employment medical
