Precision Marine NT is the Northern Territories premier marine dealership and service centre, specialising in boat, motor and trailer packages, re-powers, portable engines, servicing, spare parts, through to retail boating and on the water products to both the recreational and commercial sectors.

Precision Marine NT is the Top Ends Premier Mercury dealership and has been operating for over 10 years. At the core of the Precision Marine NT team is communication and teamwork – it is these key aspects that has driven the success.

We have a large portfolio of customers ranging from recreational boaters through to charter operators, business, government and commercial operators.

Due to ongoing business growth and success we are looking for our newest team member.

About you:

- You love the outdoors, fishing, camping and being in the outdoors - you also have a good idea about the region.

- You are well organized and enjoy managing multiple tasks
- You are driven to deliver exceptional customer service and are happy to go the extra step to ensure the customer is happy.

What you will be doing:

- Conducting counter-based sales and handling customer enquiries in person, via phone and online
- Providing quotes and estimates for our range of products and engines
- Assisting with stock ordering, inventory management, stock control, dispatch and receiving, including stocktakes
- You will become well versed in the range of products we carry and are eager to learn more as these products change
- Assist with booking and scheduling of works and jobs with the assistance of Service Manager
- Continually looking for ways you can improve efficiency in your role and be open to offering feedback on other areas for improvement
- Processing minor warranty claims with assistance from Service and Parts Manager
- Maintain showroom appearance, refill inventory, organise displays,
- Local parts drop off and pick-up
- Maintain clear and concise records and documentation.
- Other adhoc tasks as required

What you will need for success:

- A drivers license, this is essential
- A bonus if you have a forklift license – open to assist in obtaining
- A great attitude – skills can be taught, attitude is on you
- A general interest or some experience to the industry is always a positive.
- Availability for one half day on Saturday a month and be open to overtime should it be required.
