Tutor / Carer for 5-Year-Old Child

We are seeking a caring and reliable tutor/carer to support a 5-year-old child who is about to start school. The role involves engaging the child in educational activities to help with school readiness (reading and writing), along with couple of days preschool pick-ups and light errands.

Key Responsibilities:


• Provide age-appropriate learning activities (literacy, numeracy, and play-based learning)


• Engage the child in creative and fun activities that encourage curiosity and social skills


• Assist with school drop-offs occasional (if possible) and pick-ups (if you have a valid driver's licence)


• Occasionally help with light grocery shopping or household errands

Selection Criteria:


• Previous experience working with children (e.g. tutoring, childcare, teaching) and teaching school readiness (reading and writing) program


• Warm, patient and engaging personality


• Ability to plan age-appropriate educational activities


• Excellent communication skills


• Reliability and punctuality

Needed:


• A valid driver's licence and your own vehicle


• Willingness to assist with grocery shopping and light errands

Requirements:


• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)


• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Hours & Pay:


• Flexible weekday hours (approximately [3 hours/weekday])


• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
