Assetlink's Purpose:

Specializing in the provision of standalone cleaning and security services or a tailored integrated solution, Assetlink support businesses to manage their assets and operations in the commercial, retail, aviation, health & aged care, and mining sectors.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for experienced Part time & Full time Security Team Members to join our team in various shopping centres across Melbourne's West. The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence on-site whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer-focused team.

Work hours are as follows:

  1. Watergardens Shopping Centre.

Role 1: Monday to Wednesday: 4pm - 12am

Role 2: Casual

  • Westfield Airport West Shopping Centre

Role 1:

  • Week 1:
    Tuesday to Friday — 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM (4 consecutive night shifts)

  • Week 2:
    Wednesday to Friday — 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM (3 consecutive night shifts)

Note: This is a fortnightly rotating night shift roster.

Role 2:

Part time Control Operator position - Roster lines to be confirmed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in Retail Security (Preferred)
  • Protection of the premises, employees, contractor, and visitors
  • Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • General security duties including administration tasks
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations
  • Respond to critical incidents and simultaneously prepare written reports
  • Interact with key stakeholders including building management, emergency services, client representatives and follow team members via the correct communication device

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Hold a valid Victorian Security Licence & First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with key stakeholders
  • Warm and empathetic nature with a strong customer service focus and the ability to manage a variety of high-pressure situations
