We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team in Sydney, NSW.

Job Overview:

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing our current projects in NSW Region.

Responsibilities will include managing and coordinating various construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, quality standards, and safety regulations. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractor teams to ensure that everything progresses smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities - including structural, piling, anchoring, shotcrete, earthworks, concrete structures, roadways, utilities, and other related tasks.
  • Monitor construction progress, ensuring it aligns with schedules and quality standards.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, providing guidance to personnel working alongside you.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve any technical issues and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Promote a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Oversee the procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of construction activities, progress reports, and any changes to the project scope.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor (or Project Engineer) in major civil infrastructure projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
  • A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and achieving project goals.
