Gantry Crane Operators 3000+ per week Major Project

Adelaide, South Australia Workfast Full time $96,320 - $114,400 per year

Workfast is seeking experiencedGantry Crane Operators for a large-scale, long-term infrastructure project across Adelaide. You will be working at our client's facility at Ottoway, SA.

What's in it for you:

  • $46-55 p/hr + super + penalties
  • 10+ hour shifts
  • 6 days on 1 day off

Minimum Requirements:

  • Full Australian working rights
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
  • Construction White Card
  • Valid CB crane licence. (RIIHAN305D Operate a gantry or overhead crane)
  • HRW, Dogman or Rigger tickets will be a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating an overhead gantry crane.
  • Previous experience in Dogging /Rigging.
  • Must be reliable, hard-working and willing to help out other trades when required, be flexible in duties.
  • Strong work ethic and be fit and healthy.
  • Be able to secure loads for transport, chains & straps.
  • Safety-focused and physically fit

Preferred (but not essential):

  • Experience in tier one infrastructure civil projects
  • Additional tickets such as Dogging, Rigging, Telehandler, HR/HC licence, Forklift, Scaffolding, CN, C6, Scissor Lift, EWP 11m+, Working at Heights

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating an overhead gantry crane
  • Interpret construction drawings and ensure work meets design and quality standards
  • Operate tools, equipment, and small machinery safely
  • Assist with civil construction tasks, including reinforcement installation and site preparation
  • Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant work environment
  • Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
