About the Opportunity

One of WA's most in-demand solar providers is expanding their installation team. With a strong pipeline of residential solar and battery installations booked across the Perth metro area, we are looking for a high quality tradesperson who takes pride in safe, compliant, premium work.

If you are already accredited, perfect. If not, we will support the right A-Grade Electrician to gain Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) certification for Grid-Connected PV and Battery Systems. This is an opportunity to step into a role with consistent work, strong pay, and a company that invests in their people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, wire, test, and commission residential grid-connected solar PV and battery systems to a high standard.
  • Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 5033, AS/NZS 5139, SAA requirements, and WA electrical regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair faults across inverters, monitoring systems, and battery components.
  • Complete all required documentation, including CoCs, SAA verification photos, and clear as-built drawings.
  • Deliver professional customer service, including system handovers and basic education.
  • Supervise apprentices or trade assistants on-site and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
What You Will Bring

Essential qualifications and licences

  • WA A-Grade Electrical Licence (Unrestricted).
  • SAA Accreditation for GCPV and GCBS is highly desirable.
  • If you are not accredited yet, you must be willing to complete accreditation with our support.
  • WA Driver's Licence.
  • White Card, Working at Heights, CPR and LVR.
  • Full rights to work in Australia.

Skills and experience

  • Hands-on experience with domestic electrical systems.
  • Experience installing or maintaining solar and battery systems is ideal but not essential if you are willing to train.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and roof plans accurately.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and a commitment to safe, high quality workmanship.
  • Pride in your trade and a proactive approach on-site.
