Narrandera NSW, Australia Complete Staff Solutions Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced plant operator to work with a road works construction team working from a depot at Narrandera. Note, this will involve some camp/travel after a period of time, but initial work will be in the Narrandera local area. Applicants will need to live within 80-100km of this location or have existing living arrangements in place at the time of application.

Plant being operated will vary and includes loader; rollers - multi-tyre, padfoot, smooth drum; mixer; grader; plus trucks from time to time. You must also be willing to undertake manual labouring duties as required to assist the team in completing required work tasks.

You will be working full time hours of work (8.5 hours/day - 76 hours over a 9 day fortnight) until end of June initially with genuine potential of further work being available for good quality workers. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.

An immediate start of work is available.

Successful Applicants will need;

  • Plant Operating - proven experience with bonus points for grader experience

  • current WHS White Card - essential

  • Driver licence - HR truck licence or above

  • Traffic control ticket/s - or willingness to obtain within first few weeks of employment

  • Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)

  • good all round fitness for manual work tasks

  • previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
