Job Overview

You will play a critical role in delivering essential road infrastructure improvements on various minor works projects. This position requires you to work as part of a team, operate heavy plant machinery, and contribute to high-quality project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled operator with experience in civil construction and safe and efficient operations of plant such as backhoes, loaders, bobcats, mixers, stabilisers, and rollers.

In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining safety standards, conducting equipment checks, identifying environmental hazards, and driving operational excellence in a dynamic construction environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

We are seeking individuals who are motivated, proactive, and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a variety of heavy plant machinery while performing both routine and complex manual tasks.
  • Maintain safety standards and conduct equipment checks to ensure the smooth operation of projects.
  • Identify and mitigate environmental hazards to minimize their impact on the project.
  • Contribute to high-quality project outcomes by working closely with the project team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Construction Industry White Card.
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence.
  • Traffic control certification is desirable but not an essential requirement for this position.
