About the Role

We are seeking a
Manager, Visualisations
to join QIC Real Estate for a 12-month maternity leave contract. This pivotal role leads the Power BI product strategy, governance, and delivery for QIC Real Estate, ensuring the ongoing development and optimisation of Power BI as the core data visualisation and reporting platform.

You will:

  • Chair the Power BI Centre of Excellence, setting standards for report design and governance.

  • Drive adoption of modern visualisation and self-service reporting capabilities.

  • Oversee design, development, and implementation of BI solutions in Power BI.

  • Collaborate with IT and Data teams to align reporting models with QIC's data architecture.

  • Provide consultative support and training to business users and report developers.

Key Criteria

  • Extensive experience in data visualisation, reporting, and analytics, including modern BI toolsets.

  • Deep hands-on expertise in Power BI enterprise deployment, governance, and data modelling.

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and modern data architectures (Microsoft Azure highly regarded).

  • Proven experience managing hybrid delivery teams and establishing governance frameworks for BI platforms.

  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Tertiary qualification in information systems, data management, business, commerce, finance, real estate, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Criteria

  • Experience in commercial real estate, investment management, or other complex asset-based industries.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Anaplan, SharePoint Online, and/or Python.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and ETL principles.

  • Experience chairing communities of practice or centres of excellence within analytics domains.
