Our client is Kingston Resources Ltd, an ASX listed gold producer that is currently focusing on ongoing development of the Mineral Hill Gold Mine near Condobolin in Central West NSW. The Mine

Mineral Hill is fully owned by Kingston Resources Limited and located approx. 65 km from Condobolin, NSW. Mining gold, silver and copper, underground rehab has commenced in preparation for development kicking off very soon with ore production scheduled for early 2026.

About this role

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for the effective execution and supervision of mechanical maintenance for underground fleet. Your team will be key in ensuring achievement of budgeted production targets whilst meeting all quality standards including cost, safety, and environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Underground Maintenance team (inclusive of contractors), ensuring awareness of the tasks, targets, and access to the necessary tools
  • Ensure the team are applying effective preventative maintenance practices through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and timely repair of equipment
  • Assist with training, development and coaching
  • Ensure minimal disruption to production through the ready access to critical parts and equipment
  • Champion the compliance with OHS and environmental standards and requirements

We are looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience
  • Heavy Duty Trade Qualification (Australian recognised) with minimum of 5 years post-trade experience
  • Manual driver's licence
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Strong knowledge of underground equipment
  • Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in an underground maintenance environment
