Kingston Resources Ltd is an ASX listed gold producer that is currently focusing on ongoing development of the Mineral Hill Gold Mine near Condobolin in NSW. We are preparing for an exciting new underground mining opportunity and are seeking highly skilled and motivated mining professionals to join our team.

The mine

Mineral Hill is fully owned by Kingston Resources Limited located approx. 65 km from Condobolin mining gold, silver and copper. We have commenced underground rehab in preparation for development kicking off in the next couple of months and production ore scheduled for early next year.

We are now seeking a skilled and experienced Underground Mine Superintendent for an immediate start to join our small dynamic team where you can grow your career.

About the role

Reporting to the Mining Manager you will provide effective leadership to the underground mining team, overseeing and coordinating all underground mining activity ensuring targets are continuously met whilst promoting a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Safety Management System ensuring a safety-first work culture
• Ensure safe and efficient underground mining operations that meet schedules, budget, and Life-of-Mine targets
• Ensure adequate pro-active monitoring to maintain a safe work environment
• Lead and mentor Shift Supervisors across shift operations
• Ensure adequate and effective resource allocation, equipment availability, and operational continuity
• Work cross-functionally with maintenance, technical, and client teams
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and safety leadership
• Build and sustain strong relationships and clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including all site personnel, corporate teams, regulators, suppliers and industry partners
• Ensure compliance with the applicable WHS and other acts and regulations
• Drive the planning and operational execution to achieve the underground quarterly and FY targets
• Provide up to date reporting and documentation in relation to operational performance
• Oversight of contractor performance and activities

About You

• Must hold NSW Underground Mine Supervisor Practicing Certificate
• Security Clearance (UHL) or ability to obtain
• 15+ years of mining experience
• Previous leadership experience in similar role
• Sound understanding of underground mining development and production operations
• Sound understanding of mine planning, mining engineering and geology
• Good understanding of NSW statutory requirements for underground mining
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Current manual C Class Driver's License
• Senior First Aid Certificate/CPR Qualification, highly desired
• You must have the right to live and work in Australia
