THE ROLE

As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing, supervising, delivering and evaluating the communication strategies for the Duratec group of companies.

You will oversee the creation of best-practice goals, strategies, and implementation plans to execute comprehensive marketing and communication campaigns that support our organisational objectives. This role is pivotal in maintaining brand integrity across all communications, driving lead generation, and elevating brand awareness.

Act as the brand custodian to ensure brand integrity across all marketing initiatives and communications within the Duratec brand.

  • Oversee brand strategy across all group brands.
  • Advise executives on marketing and communications.
  • Lead end-to-end marketing programs, fostering internal collaboration.
  • Conduct market, client, and competitor research to inform strategy.
  • Build and manage a high-performing Marketing and Communications team.
  • Own budget, timelines, and reporting.
  • Maintain external partnerships and represent Duratec at key events.
  • Develop and implement strategic internal and external communications.
  • Drive continuous improvement through initiatives, policies, and procedures.

ABOUT YOU

You are a strategic thinker with a creative edge, experienced in leading teams and engaging stakeholders across diverse brand portfolios. Alongside a passion for brand excellence and a growth mindset, you will have;

Essentials

  • Experience leading and effectively managing the performance, output and development of a brand and communications team
  • 7-10 years' experience in a similar role
  • Flexibility to travel nationally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Proven experience in strategic marketing leadership
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and business development abilities
  • High attention to detail, commitment to quality execution and excellent time management
  • Experience working within the construction industry is desirable

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field
  • Drivers License
