What's the opportunity?
The Senior QA Analyst is a key contributor to the delivery of a connected and high-performing digital health experience on the Salesforce Health Cloud platform. This role ensures the reliability, functionality, and security of our digital health solutions through advanced testing strategies, proactive issue identification, and continuous quality improvement.
As a senior team member, the role not only delivers hands-on testing expertise but also provides technical leadership and guidance to QA teams, encouraging a culture of quality across the development lifecycle. By driving quality assurance at scale, the Senior QA Analyst directly supports the creation of impactful, user-friendly, and compliant healthcare solutions. Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem—particularly in digital health contexts—is a strong advantage, though not essential.
The role is for 12 months fixed term, full time contract.
About the role:
Testing and Troubleshooting
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for complex projects, ensuring software quality and reliability.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members in understanding requirements, designing test cases, and conducting thorough testing.
- Lead collaboration with development and product teams to refine testing approaches, ensuring coverage of critical use cases, edge cases, and potential risks.
- Oversee both manual and automated testing efforts, proactively identifying high-impact defects, and ensuring rapid resolution in coordination with developers.
- Drive the continuous improvement of testing frameworks, methodologies, and best practices, contributing to the strategic evolution of QA processes across the team.
- Act as a subject matter expert in identifying and resolving critical software issues, ensuring a deep understanding of how defects affect product quality and user experience.
Data Entry and Record Keeping
- Ensure all test results are meticulously documented and communicated at a strategic level, ensuring product quality tracking and data-driven improvements.
- Lead QA efforts in sprint planning and actively ensure testing priorities align with business goals and timelines.
- Drive advanced regression testing and oversee critical builds to ensure past functionalities remain unaffected ahead of industry trends in testing tools and methodologies, championing the integration of advanced tools and processes into the organization.
Leadership & Communication
- Lead cross-functional discussions to align testing priorities with project goals and business requirements.
- Act as the key QA representative in meetings with senior stakeholders, clearly communicating complex test results and quality risks.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
The Senior role focuses more on leadership, strategic process improvements, and cross-functional influence while maintaining the hands-on technical testing skills of the standard QA Analyst role.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced QA certifications, such as ISTQB Advanced Level, Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles, with demonstrated capability in end-to-end testing across complex systems.
- Proven expertise in test planning, designing and executing advanced test scenarios, managing defect lifecycle, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Strong technical foundation, including a working knowledge of software development practices, testing methodologies, and modern QA tools.
- Experience working with test management platforms (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr), defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira), and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TOSCA).Solid understanding of scripting languages for test automation (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or similar) and hands-on
- experience building or maintaining automated test suites.
- Demonstrated ability to manage testing within Agile project timelines and deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
- Prior experience in Salesforce-based environments, especially Health Cloud, is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Specialised training in test automation tools, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), and leadership development programs is highly desirable
