We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Delegated Authority Analyst to join our APAC Operations team.

The Delegated Authority Management team are responsible for the oversight and control of all Canopius' delegated authority business, as well as overseeing compliance with delegated authority rules, principles and regulatory requirements.

The Delegated Authority Analyst supports the strategic execution and day-to-day management of the Delegated Authority Framework across the APAC region. This role focuses on operational delivery, stakeholder support, compliance readiness, and data integrity of the end-to-end Delegated Authority process to support us deliver our growth ambitions. The role is instrumental in ensuring that Delegated Authority operations run smoothly and responsive to both internal and external stakeholders.

Operational Delivery and Support
Be Seen As a Business Partner And 'go To Person' To Process Stakeholders To Ensure Smooth Execution Of The Delegated Authority Framework. This Will Entail

  • Preparation and execution of onboarding and governance documents aligned to internal policies and market standards to ensure compliance with Regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise and support timely approval of new and renewal of Coverholders and/or binders.
  • Supporting binder monitoring activities including EPI reviews and control adherence.
  • Maintenance of accurate records of Coverholders, binders, bordereaux data, contract terms, and service-level agreements.
  • Coordinate with finance, data, claims, complaints and actuarial teams to support timely bordereaux ingestion, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Track, support resolution and escalate operational risks or data quality concerns to relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise and assist with the smooth execution of Delegated Authority audits including closing audit issues.
  • Prepare routine and ad-hoc operational reports to support internal oversight and governance requests. These include monthly Line of Business (LOB) performance packs and input into the Delegated Authority Governance forums.
  • Partner with the data team to achieve data accuracy in bordereaux processing and Coverholder performance metrics.
  • Support creation and maintenance of dashboards that visualize delegated authority performance, in conjunction with Group Data.
  • Provide responsive support to Coverholders, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), and brokers regarding onboarding, issue resolution, and day-to-day queries.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Risk & Compliance, Complaints and Finance teams to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Represent operations in working groups and contribute insights to process improvement efforts.
  • Ensure operational practices comply with internal governance frameworks, Lloyd's standards, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in gathering documentation and evidence for audits, reviews, and regulatory submissions.
  • Support implementation of changes resulting from policy or process updates.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Provide responsive support to Coverholders, TPAs, and brokers regarding onboarding, issue resolution, and day-to-day queries.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Risk & Compliance, Complaints and Finance teams to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Represent operations in working groups and contribute insights to process improvement efforts.

Qualifications
Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in insurance operations or delegated authority
  • Strong organisational, data and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service-focused mindset.
  • Experience with systems such as DA SATS, DCOM ATLAS, Crystal, and bordereaux ingestion tools.
  • Diploma or degree in insurance, risk management, business operations, or related field.
  • Certifications in operational excellence or governance frameworks (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, CII) preferred
