Assistant Brand Manager – Mountain Goat Brewery

Your Impact

This isn't your standard Assistant Brand Manager role. At Mountain Goat Brewery, you'll have the chance to make your mark on one of Australia's most iconic craft beer brands. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll step into a role with real ownership, driving initiatives that shape how Mountain Goat shows up in the world – from our social media voice, to our event activations, to the way we connect with our community of Goat fans.

We're looking for someone who's dynamic, ambitious, and ready to lead key projects. This is your chance to take a brand that's been pioneering since 1997 and push it into new and exciting spaces.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to own and grow core parts of our brand presence:

• Social Media Leadership – Shape and evolve our social media strategy, defining tone of voice, driving content creation, and building an engaged community across our channels. You'll be trusted to bring a vision, fresh ideas, and bold campaigns that cut through.
• Sponsorships & Event Activation – Lead the way in bringing Mountain Goat to life at events, festivals, and community activations. You'll manage creative toolkits, merchandise, digital assets, and on-the-ground engagement that leaves a lasting impression.
• Community Engagement & CRM – Manage and grow the Goat Army database, driving smarter, more engaging communications that keep our fans coming back for more.
• Merchandise & Creative – Own our merchandise program, curating ranges, launching campaigns, and making sure our brand stands out both on and off the shelf.
• Innovation & NPD Support – Be part of the team that brings new products to life, with a strong focus on limited editions, specialty releases, and keeping Goat at the forefront of craft.
• Creative Guardian – Review and shape artwork, campaigns, and brand comms to make sure every touchpoint reflects the pioneering Goat spirit.

About You

We're looking for someone who wants to step up, take ownership, and grow quickly. You'll be excited by the chance to shape brand culture, not just "support" it.

• Experience in Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing or Social Media within FMCG or lifestyle brands
• Strong social media and content creation skills – you're confident in shaping ideas, producing content, and setting the tone
• Degree in Marketing, Business and/or Commerce preferred
• Creative thinker who thrives under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with data – Excel and analytics don't scare you, they help you build better plans
