About the Role
We have an exciting 12-month opportunity for a Senior Manager, Brand & Partnership Activations to join in our Melbourne office In this leadership role, you'll guide a team of marketing professionals, and oversee the planning and delivery of marketing activity across our industry partnerships. This role also provides strategic guidance on partnership and sponsorship opportunities; with a view to support the fund's growth agenda.
As part of our Brand Marketing and Content team, you'll collaborate across the fund, and support the strategic positioning of our industry partnerships through effective marketing implementation and the contribution of activation insights and evaluation. Operational fulfilment is achieved via a combination of channels - specifically events, advertising, editorial, merchandise, and social media.
Key Responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with member, employer, member health, and ESG partner organisations.
- Lead a team responsible for delivery of strategic sponsorship initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand and partnership objectives.
- Continuously improve process for onboarding and managing stakeholders, ensuring partnership marketing activities meet compliance and risk requirements.
- Lead partnership initiatives by defining the marketing roadmap and overseeing end-to-end delivery of marketing activations.
- Complete assessments of current and prospective partnership and sponsorship marketing activations to ensure alignment to the best financial interest of members.
- Contribute to commercial decision-making regarding the viability of partnerships, ensuring appropriate and effective return on investment.
- Ongoing management and reporting of partnership activation expenditure.Build the Cbus brand through quality execution of partnership agreements.
- Provide acquisition and retention opportunities for our workplace service team through agreement activation.
- Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of marketing channels within partnership agreements.
- Implement efficient work practices within the team.
- Lead a high performing team, including resourcing and capacity planning.
- Provide marketing insights to shape Industry Partnerships strategy.
- Report activity and communicate progress to senior stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Tertiary qualification in marketing or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in services marketing, preferably in financial services or superannuation.
- Leadership experience.
- Excellent oral, comprehension, and writing skills.
- Extensive event management experience.
- An understanding of and experience in brand management.
- Proficiency in various marketing channels including digital, print, direct mail, and merchandise.
- Well developed relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of organisational skills including the ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines, managing various tasks at once, within a changing work environment.
