About the role:

ISE SW Developer (back end)

  • Perl
  • Understand legacy codes/debug and development
  • Adding features to existing Perl modules
  • Building custom monitoring or alerting scripts for network events
  • Linux
  • Networking and security fundamentals: TCP/IP, firewalls (iptables/nftables)
  • Subnetting, routing, NAT, VLANs, Virtual IP
  • Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting
  • Understanding of failover strategies and redundancy
  • SSH, Bash scripting
  • Configuration management tools (Ansible, …)
  • Database (mysql/postgress, )
  • Strong understanding of database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
  • Understanding of Galera Cluster concepts and synchronous replication
  • Monitoring and managing replication lag, failover, and recovery procedure
  • Python
  • load‑balancers (HAProxy
    , NGINX)
  • Strong Containerisation skills (Docker,…)

Good to have:

  • Experience in setting up
    DNS service
  • Build and manage
    Gitlab CI/CD pipeline
  • Monitoring/logging/alerting:
