Community Living & Respite Services (CLRS) is a not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering people with disability, their families, and the aged to live the life they choose. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader – Relief Portfolio to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

As Team Leader – Relief Portfolio, you will lead safe, high-quality, person-centred supports across CLRS Daily Living, Defined Programs, and Residential services. This unique role spans multiple service areas, stepping in when other Team Leaders are unavailable. You'll provide day-to-day practice leadership, supervision, and scheduling, while ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and other regulatory requirements.

This role includes both administrative and active support responsibilities, including working shifts when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise support staff and volunteers.
  • Maintain and develop programs aligned with client goals.
  • Empower clients in decision-making and capacity building.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation, reporting, and scheduling.
  • Build strong relationships with families, staff, and community stakeholders.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and active shifts.
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.

What You'll Bring

Essential:

  • Passion for enabling positive outcomes for people with disability.
  • Knowledge of the NDIS system and Practice Standards.
  • Experience in team leadership and program management.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • High level of computer literacy.

Desirable:

  • Qualification in Disability or Community Services (or currently studying) combined with experience supporting clients. Not qualified, no worries. We'll support you through a traineeship in Diploma Community Services.

  • Victorian or NSW Driver Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check (Vic)
  • Level Two First Aid
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (3 doses or medical exemption)
