THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are searching for a passionate foodie with exceptional leadership skills to join our kitchen team in the capacity of full-time Chef de Partie.

This is an opportunity to demonstrate your creativity for food, your ambition to lead and ensure you and the team deliver excellence on each and every plate.  You will be a true professional who is dedicated to delivering a menu of fresh, local and modern cuisine for the all-day dining options including breakfast, lunch and dinner, take-away offerings and a range of exciting food offerings for all various events, celebrations and functions.

WHO ARE YOU?

Reporting to the Head Chef and working closely with the Kitchen Brigade, you will be able to deliver and bring to the role;

• High standards and execution; ability to roll-up your sleeves; have a hands-on approach to deliver high volume and high-quality menus.
• Proven experience as Chef de Partie, or similar role with strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen professionals.
• Effectively communicate with your team including the kitchen and front of house team members
• Trade qualifications with a solid understanding of food safety standards and personal presentation.
• Have an outstanding work ethic, passion and commitment to work in a busy and challenging environment. You must be flexible and able to work a range of shifts across days, evenings and weekends.

Demonstrated experience in executing successful events and functions is highly desirable.
