Are you passionate about building a strong risk management culture and driving governance excellence? Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV) is seeking an experienced professional to shape and strengthen our approach to risk and compliance across Victoria's breathtaking alpine environments.

About the Role

As the
Governance and Risk Advisor
, you'll:

  • Lead initiatives that ensure ARV's governance and risk practices are robust, compliant, and future-ready.
  • Provide expert advice across teams and resorts.
  • Support emergency and business continuity planning.
  • Deliver strategic insights that drive continuous improvement.

*This role offers a unique blend of meaningful work and occasional travel to ARV's stunning alpine resorts.

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in governance, risk management, public administration, or related discipline.
  • Experience in governance and risk advisory roles within public sector or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of legislative frameworks and emergency management planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Police check and random drug & alcohol tests.
  • Valid driver's licence (Victorian preferred).
  • Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee.
  • Additional pre-employment checks may apply.

Location & Flexibility

Work from one of our alpine resorts or offices in Mansfield/Lilydale. Remote and hybrid arrangements negotiable.

Salary:
$95,102 – $107,905 p/a + superannuation

Start Date:
December 2025 (Fixed-term contract up to 14 months)
