About the RoleSupporting the design and implementation of an appropriate target operating model for policy governance (covering Group and divisional policy documents), including ensuring divisional and functional policies map to respective Group policiesSupporting the maintenance and enhancement of a comprehensive policy inventory, tools (including future-proof technology as appropriate), resources and reporting to build strong awareness and consistent understanding and application of ANZ's policy governance framework, including determining appropriate policy hierarchy and naming conventionsSupport to improve the consistent drafting and implementation of policy documents – including quality, people's ability to find, understand and adhere to themSupporting Continuous monitoring of ANZ's policy framework

As a Business SME, Policy Governance, you are accountable for:
Supporting the team and key stakeholders on a number of activities, including providing advice and guidance to influence efficient policy drafting, governance and outcomesReducing policy complexity and drive efficient purpose and values led principles-based policy in easy to understand language and termsDeveloping and preparing policy governance reporting to facilitate meaningful decision making by key leaders and policy ownersManaging your deliverables and supporting the team identify and act on continuous improvement opportunities What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) to engage and influenceCourage and commitment to drive changeAbility to establish, build and maintain collaborative relationships to influence/negotiate changeAble to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional mannerPreferably policy governance experience in/from the Financial Services industry or from other large/international organisationExcellent conceptual and problem-solving skillsResilience and a fast-paced approach with a strong growth mindsetYou're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
