About the Role

As a Lifestyle Assistant, you'll support the delivery of engaging activities and individual programs that promote social connection, emotional wellbeing, and enjoyment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and review lifestyle activities that meet individual resident needs
  • Facilitate group and one-on-one programs
  • Welcome and assist new residents with their transition
  • Advocate for residents and respond to feedback or concerns
  • Monitor participation and maintain accurate documentation
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and care teams
  • Maintain safe, respectful, and inclusive spaces for residents
  • Contribute to team meetings, WH&S compliance, and quality standards

What You'll Need

  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Driver's Licence
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Manual Handling training
  • Understanding of aged care and resident-centred service

Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or related field
  • Knowledge of dementia care
  • Familiarity with aged care documentation and standards
  • WHS awareness
  • Ability to speak Italian is a plus
