Are you looking for an opportunity to work locally in a highly reputable and successful business? 

Reporting to the Branch Manager, as a Senior Internal Salesperson, you will provide efficient and exceptional customer service to our large and varied customer base. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Provision of customer service, including effectively actioning customer requests and enquiries.
  • Counter sales, including the promotion of an extensive and diverse product set.
  • Sales administration tasks such as preparing quotes, processing sales orders, and raising invoices.
  • Answering telephone and email enquiries.
  • Actioning customer requests and enquiries face to face, over the phone and via email.
  • Stock control, including re-stocking shelves and packing orders.
  • General ad-hoc duties and requests as required.

What you'll need to succeed: 

  • You're a driven and passionate professional with experience working in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • You have previous experience in the Building, Industrial and Construction Supply Industries (desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, so your ability to build relationships and establish rapport is second to none.
  • Client-focused and a real team player, you are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing the best solutions for your clients.
  • You are excellent at managing your own time and a real "self-starter"; you don't need someone looking over your shoulder to get things done.
  • You'll hold a valid driver's licence, with a forklift licence considered a plus.
  • Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role.
