We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workforce Management team at Mercer Adminsitration Services. This role will be based in Wollongong office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days in the office.

The Workforce Management Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring efficient workforce scheduling, maintaining adherence to performance standards, and facilitating effective communication between employees, supervisors, and leadership. This position supports operational goals by monitoring productivity, managing schedules, and providing actionable insights to optimise staffing and performance.

We will count on you to:

  • Monitor employee performance against established work schedules and real-time productivity metrics using Workforce Management applications.

  • Provide timely updates to Team Managers on employee adherence to schedules and productivity thresholds, highlighting those who meet or exceed targets.

  • Process and manage requests for schedule changes, making necessary adjustments to published schedules to align with operational business objectives.

  • Communicate schedule changes effectively to employees and supervisors to ensure clarity and operational continuity.

  • Report actual performance and productivity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to operational leaders and clients, supporting overall KPI achievement.

  • Assist in resource projection and forecasting to optimise staffing levels through accurate scheduling.

  • Generate and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly reports, delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership within established deadlines.

  • Consolidate staffing reports, including vacation and sick leave, coordinating with colleagues and management to ensure business needs are met efficiently.

What you need to have:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and generate actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in Workforce Management software and related productivity monitoring tools.

  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with employees, supervisors, and leadership.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Experience in forecasting, scheduling, and resource planning is highly desirable.
