Our client is looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain impactful data visualisations that enable informed decision-making. The role will focus on building dashboards, optimising data models, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of business intelligence solutions.

This is initially a 6-month contract, with a likelihood of extensions, is based in Melbourne Western Suburbs and requires the successful candidate to be full-time in the office, but a hybrid arrangement my be possible in time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Create and optimise data models to enhance performance and usability of reports.
  • Integrate and transform data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance for reports and datasets.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and semantic modelling.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate complex data insights effectively.
  • Experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations data is a plus.
  • Experience with financial reporting, metrics, and analysis is highly desirable.
