Westplex Tiling Services is a trusted, well-established tiling company in Perth with a reputation for excellence in residential renovations. We work with some of the most reputable bathroom renovation companies, tile suppliers, real estate agents, and builders in the industry.

Our commitment to quality and outstanding service has earned us numerous awards and long-term client relationships. We are now looking for an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary package, providing stability and consistent work. You will work on a variety of residential renovation projects and have the opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship in a supportive team environment.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

· Review plans to determine project requirements, mark surfaces, and organize work areas.

· Prepare walls and floors by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling cracks and holes, and thoroughly cleaning surfaces.

· Apply waterproofing systems in accordance with Australian standards.

· Utilize tile-cutting tools to shape and trim tiles for edges, corners, fittings, and pipes. Apply adhesive to prepared surfaces and tiles, position tiles accurately, and ensure proper alignment and spacing.

· Install and secure tiles, apply grout, and polish tiled surfaces.

· Assess existing tiles for damage and carry out repairs or replacements as necessary.

· Install flooring using materials such as granolithic, terrazzo, cement, or similar compositions when needed.

· Design decorative patterns and mosaics using coloured tiles.

Qualifications & Experience:

· At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in renovations.

· Proficiency in all aspects of tiling, including surface preparation, tile cutting, adhesive application, and grout finishing.

· Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship. Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills. Reliable transport and own tools.

· Willingness to travel across Perth (North and South of the river).
