About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stone Mason to join our construction team. The role involves cutting, shaping, and installing natural and engineered stone for residential and commercial projects, ensuring precision craftsmanship and adherence to design and safety standards.

As a Stone Mason, you will work with materials such as granite, marble, sandstone, and engineered stone to create high-quality finishes for benchtops, facades, floors, and decorative stonework. You will interpret plans, measure and mark layouts, and operate various hand and power tools to complete installations with excellence and efficiency.

You'll be part of a professional team dedicated to delivering exceptional workmanship across Western Australia's building and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements.

• Cut, shape, and polish stone using hand tools and machinery to precise dimensions.

• Install stone features such as benchtops, cladding, fireplaces, paving, and walls.

• Repair, replace, or restore existing stonework when required.

• Operate saws, grinders, and polishing machines safely and efficiently.

• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Work collaboratively with builders, tilers, and site supervisors to meet project timelines.

• Uphold WHS standards and site safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certificate III in Stonemasonry (or equivalent trade qualification).

• Proven experience in stone cutting, polishing, and installation.

• Competence in using stone fabrication tools and machinery.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes.

• White Card and a valid driver's licence required.

• Experience with engineered stone and understanding of silica safety standards preferred.
