The opportunity

• As an Account Executive, with the eternal-facing title of School Partnerships - Implementation & Strategic Planning, you'll work to grow Teacher's Buddy's reach into K-12 schools across Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia
• This is a full-time hybrid role

  e move quickly and value transparency. Once you're in the interview process, you'll receive clear feedback and meaningful insights from the team. For this role, you can expect something along the lines of the following: (1) Initial screen call, (2) Interview Round 1: Culture & Motivations, (3) Interview Round 2: Technical Assessment (role play exercise), and (4) Interview Round 3: Final round with our co-founder(s) or other senior team member.

What you'll do

• Build upon and manage new relationships with K-12 schools across Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia
• Understand client needs and provide the right priority-aligned and/or strategy-aligned solutions
• Engage with educators in group or 1:1 settings to show them the value of our product (and to relay feedback/learnings to our Product team so we can automate this as much as possible in the future)
• Meet with K-12 school leaders with the aim of negotiating contracts and signing them up as clients
• Keep detailed notes in Hubspot to forecast accurately and manage your pipeline

What you'll bring to the table

• Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship building, communication, and stakeholder management
• Collaborative approach and a love of receiving and providing feedback
• Ability to both work and thrive autonomously, whilst knowing when to ask for help
• Educational technology knowledge or experience, including AI-driven tools, or understanding of classroom workflows
• Sales and strategic planning experience, including pipeline management, solution selling, and client success strategy
• Strategic sales mindset with a focus on long-term relationships
• Comfortable managing a high-volume pipeline and working to ambitious targets
• Project management and implementation skills, including oversight of solution deployment, scheduling, and training
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to travel to educational institutions as needed
• Experience in the education sector is a strong plus
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Business, or a related field preferred but not required
