Edward Public School is located in the rural town of Deniliquin, along the beautiful Edward River. The school educates 104 students, 26% of whom identify as Aboriginal, in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Students have access to a wide range of academic, sporting, creative and cultural opportunities, supported by modern facilities including interactive panels, a technology centre, music room, library and expansive playgrounds. A dedicated team of early-career and experienced educators is supported by a school counsellor, chaplain, Home School Liaison Officer and school-based trainee. The school is committed to high-quality, explicit teaching and continuous improvement, ensuring every student is supported to reach their full potential, along with various Wellbeing programs. The classification and remuneration of our school principals is based on school complexity, as measured through each school's RAM allocation. As part of the ongoing application of the new structure a review of thresholds and outcomes will occur on an annual basis. The principal classification for this school is Principal Level P1 for 2025.
