Quality and Regulatory Coordinator

Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance and Improvement you will be instrumental in supporting our Food Safety Management System; managing regulatory labelling compliance; and export product registration/compliance documentation. You will join a dynamic solutions-based team who actively support Flavour Creations business requirements.

The successful applicant will responsible for, but not limited to:

• Maintaining our Approved Suppliers Program encompassing all Suppliers, Materials and Contract Manufacturers, includes Supplier Audits and Food Fraud
• Supporting the Quality Team to investigate customer complaints and implement improvements
• Contributing to the continual improvement of our FSMS by conducting internal audits and GMP inspections
• Maintaining Halal and Kosher product & raw material registration
• Ensuring labelling of our products meets regulatory requirements including FSANZ along with customer and internal requirements
• Facilitating export product registration by working with importers to ensure they meet export requirements
• Preparing and managing compliance documentation for the export of goods to meet international regulations and customer requirements

We are looking for someone with a passion for quality, a sharp eye for detail, a "hands-on, can do" approach and the desire to improve systems that makes life easier for everyone. The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in Quality Assurance or Regulatory Affairs role in food manufacturing
• Understanding and experience in developing a GSFI Food Safety Management System (e.g. BRC, FSSC 22000)
• Excellent attention to detail with solid documentation and record keeping skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• The confidence to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and drive improvement
• A tertiary qualification in food technology or science
• A proficient level of experience in the use of Microsoft suite
• A car and current driver's licence
