About the role
Zande Law has two opportunities available, we are seeking a Full time Conveyancing Para Legal Assistant together with a Part time Estates Assistant to join our dynamic team in North Lakes, Queensland.

In each of these roles, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to our Conveyancing and Estates Teams team, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of property and estate transactions for our clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as Wills ,contracts, transfers, and settlement statements

  • Coordinating the collection of required information and documentation from clients

  • Liaising with external parties such as real estate agents, lenders, and government agencies to facilitate the conveyancing process

  • Maintaining client files and records in accordance with firm policies and legal requirements

  • Assisting with the preparation of settlement statements and performing settlement calculations

  • Providing administrative support to the Conveyancing team as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Conveyancing Para Legal or Assistant role

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  • Proficient in the use of legal software and technology

  • Excellent communication and client service skills

  • Ability to work well in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Sound knowledge of property law and the conveyancing process
