Quadracon Building is a mid-sized Commercial refurbishment company working in the Aged Care, Retirement Living, Health, State Govt and Local Council sectors in NSW, QLD & VIC.

We are currently seeking to fill a new role in our Business as a Building Estimator to join our Melbourne Team pricing projects in Melbourne's Southeastern suburbs & surrounding regions.

Immediate start available for the successful applicant or as mutually agreed

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Tendering $500K to $3M

  • Tender creation, procurement and implementation in conjunction with the Business & Operations Manager with our PM Software
  • Attendance at Client mandatory project site briefings in Tendered environments
  • The conducting of site "walkarounds" and "briefings" with nominated Trade Sub Contractors
  • Compiling of Tender Supplier & Sub Contractor price submissions and building of Estimates in our PM Software
  • Participate in Tender reviews and pricing methodologies

Minor Works Projects $25K to $500K

  • Development of Estimates for commercial projects for the Operations Team
  • Client solution and methodology advice
  • Reviewing of Estimates for the existing Operations Team
  • ISO Certification compliance, and adherence to Company policies/procedures (Safety, Quality & Environment).

The successful candidate will need to have the following, skills & qualities to perform the role, including;

  • Building Trade Qualification or Tertiary Qualifications
  • Strong Building knowledge
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills
  • Strong Estimation software experience, Procore or Esticom software app experience is desirable
  • A current Driver's Licence
