Operations Manager – Building & Maintenance

With a reputation for excellence, compliance, and client satisfaction, we are seeking an accomplished Building & Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee operational delivery and lead our high-performing teams.

About the Role

This senior leadership role is responsible for the end-to-end management of renovation and maintenance projects, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and the highest standards of workmanship across all sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of building operations, including project delivery, maintenance, repairs, budgeting, and contractor performance
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies to enhance efficiency, client satisfaction, and overall performance
  • Leading and coordinating trades, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery
  • Managing relationships with clients, property managers, and stakeholders to maintain strong partnerships
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and company safety protocols
  • Monitoring project budgets, procurement activities, and cost controls to optimise financial outcomes
  • Conducting site inspections, managing defect rectifications, and upholding quality standards
  • Supporting quoting, tender submissions, and contract negotiations as required

About You

  • We are seeking a results-driven professional with a strong construction, building, or property maintenance background, capable of leading teams and delivering excellence in operations.
  • You will have:
  • Proven experience in building, construction, or property maintenance management
  • Demonstrated leadership, team management, and communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance frameworks
  • A trade qualification or relevant experience in construction/maintenance (preferred)
  • Proficiency with job management and reporting systems
  • A valid driver's licence
