We are hiring experienced female Support Workers to assist an 11-year-old client with autism who is mostly non-verbal and can display aggressive behaviours. This role includes providing personal care, preparing meals, supporting daily activities, and engaging with the client in a safe, structured, and positive way. Two support workers will always be on shift with this client to ensure safety and consistency.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience supporting individuals with aggressive or challenging behaviours, or be confident and willing to do so
  • A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • A current driver's licence and comprehensive car insurance
  • Completion of the following NDIS modules:
  • Support Effective Communication
  • Safe and Enjoyable Meals
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
