About the Role
As the Administrative Officer, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the school by providing timely and effective administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager. Working within established guidelines, you will handle routine administrative tasks and assist in resolving basic issues, referring more complex or non-routine matters to the appropriate supervisor.
This role also includes front-of-house and community officer responsibilities, where you will co-work alongside an experienced AO2 to manage a range of school-based administrative functions. Familiarity with systems such as OneSchool, Outlook, Word, and Excel is highly desirable to support success in this role.
Your Responsibilities
As the Administrative Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Student and Parent enquiries via phone, face-to-face and email communication
Relaying message to students and staff
Undertaking enrolment processes
Photocopying, archiving, filing, use of internal PA system
Exiting of Left students
Late and early departures, sick bay, administrative appointments
Excursions and school activities
Roll marking and absenteeism, sending of SMS and following up responses
Other duties as directed by Business Manager and Leadership Team
