Join a dynamic and forward-thinking team within the Bank that plays a critical role in delivering strategic banking and IT services. This position sits within the Banking Systems Team, reporting directly to a senior leader and working closely with cross-functional teams across the Bank. The team is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across banking platforms, including New Payments Platform (NPP) initiatives. You'll be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

About the Role
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams to deliver cost-effective, high-quality services aligned with the Bank's strategic and Banking/IT goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee delivery, people, and processes with a strong emphasis on compliance and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities, and enhancements to service and delivery.
About You
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating teams within complex change delivery environments.
  • Exposure to New Payments Platform (NPP) initiatives and Microsoft Azure environments are highly desirable.
  • Strong background in banking and finance systems, with a focus on strategic delivery in high-availability environments.
  • Expertise in managing risks, planning and executing deliveries, and overseeing performance metrics and agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence policy, coach team leads and developers, and support holistic team wellbeing.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
