About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Pharmacy Assistant with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to join our growing team.

Experience in a compounding pharmacy is highly regarded, and S2/S3 or community pharmacy qualifications are preferred. Candidates with strong retail pharmacy and merchandising experience are also encouraged to apply.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a professional, team-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding service and maintaining an attractive, well-organised front of shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence: Provide warm, professional, and proactive assistance to customers, ensuring a welcoming and personalised experience.
• Support for Compounding & Dispensary: Assist pharmacists with compounding workflow, prescription handling, and product preparation (training provided if required).
• Front of Shop Presentation: Manage product displays, seasonal merchandising, and promotional layouts to maintain a visually appealing and well-stocked retail space.
• Purchasing & Stock Control: Support purchasing decisions, manage stock rotation, and assist in supplier ordering and inventory management.
• Point of Sale Operations: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a positive and professional checkout experience.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environment throughout the pharmacy.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in Compounding Pharmacy (preferred) or Retail Pharmacy with strong front-of-shop knowledge.
• Pharmacy Qualifications: S2/S3 Certificate required; Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy (or higher) highly regarded.
• Customer-Focused Attitude: A genuine passion for helping others and providing high-quality service.
• Merchandising & Retail Skills: Demonstrated experience in product displays, visual presentation, and stock organisation.
• Reliability & Professionalism: Strong work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
• Excellent Communication: Friendly and confident communication skills with both customers and team members.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment that includes both retail and compounding operations.
