Role Expectations

As Room Leader and Educational Leader, you will:

  • Lead the daily operations of your room, including planning, implementing, and evaluating a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF and NQF
  • Take on the role of Educational Leader, supporting and mentoring educators to reflect on and improve their practices
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all children
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice
  • Maintain accurate documentation of children's learning and development
  • Work collaboratively with the Centre Director and management team to uphold the centre's philosophy and goals

About You

  • Early Childhood Teaching Qualification
  • Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and current best practices in early education
  • A natural leader with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Current Working with Children Check and up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
