Position Title: SDA Engagement Officer - South Australia

Reports To: Business Development Manager

Location: SA - based, with flexible working arrangements

Employment Type: Part Time (3 days per week)

We're seeking a SDA Engagement Officer to join our SA team and play a central role in connecting individuals and families to homes that truly support their goals and wellbeing.

About the Role

As our new SDA Engagement Officer, you'll play a key role in:

  • Supporting participant engagement strategies in SA to help achieve SDA occupancy goals.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with participants, families, support coordinators, and key stakeholders.

  • Identifying local market opportunities and engaging with disability service providers and referral networks.

  • Organising property viewings, assisting with tenancy documentation, and facilitating onboarding.

  • Ensuring all participant interactions are recorded and followed up on promptly.

You'll Also Be Responsible For:

  • Representing Brighter Living Australia at expos, industry events, and community functions.

  • Collaborating with the Property Management team to ensure housing meets participant needs.

  • Maintaining stakeholder satisfaction through proactive engagement and communication.

  • Advocating for Brighter Living's values in the broader disability and SDA sectors.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in disability services, SDA, or stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build genuine, trust-based relationships.

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.

  • Willingness to travel across SA for stakeholder meetings, events, and site visits.

Bonus Points For:

  • A background in community services, support coordination or similar.

  • Passion for the disability sector and improving housing outcomes.

Work Environment

This role is SA-based (Northern Suburbs), offering flexible working arrangements, including a mix of remote and on-site work. Regular travel is required to engage with participants and attend stakeholder events. This role is offered as part time with a 3-day working week, this will eventually grow to a fixed full-time role for the right person.
