Your New Role:

As the Area Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a group of stores across Western Sydney. You'll focus on helping Store Managers succeed in their roles, making sure their teams are supported and stores are performing. You'll spend your time in stores, on the road and in regular contact with head office. This is a hands on role that suits someone who enjoys being part of the day to day while also looking at the bigger picture.

The Work Agenda:

  • Visiting stores regularly to provide support, coaching and direction to Managers
  • Reviewing sales reports and store performance to identify what's working and where improvements are needed
  • Making sure visual merchandising and store presentation meet brand expectations every time.
  • Working with Store Managers to build strong teams and support staff development and progression
  • Creating staffing plans that meet business needs and help stores run smoothly
  • Communicating clearly with support office teams to help roll out promotions, campaigns and new season launches
  • Leading with a focus on consistency and customer experience across all locations
The Experience Checklist:
  • You've managed multiple retail stores in a fast-paced setting, ideally in fashion or apparel, and enjoy being close to the action
  • You have a practical understanding of store operations and what it takes to run a successful team.
  • You're confident looking at numbers and using them to guide your approach to performance
  • You take pride in how stores look and feel and expect high standards from your teams
  • You're good at building relationships and know how to bring people with you through change
  • You enjoy being on the floor, supporting your teams and staying connected to the customer
