Critical care nurse wanted for Home Care
We are currently seeking experienced Critical care nurses for a complex client in Albury to complement their home care nursing team. Ideally Monday to Thursday night shifts but there might be day shifts as well.
Our client is a young male client requiring complex nursing care for a spinal injury and he is intermittently CPAP dependent.
About INTENSIVE CARE AT HOME
INTENSIVE CARE AT HOME is proud to be the first accredited intensive care at home nursing service in Australia.
Having a proven, innovative, safe and robust 3rd party accredited framework to deliver intensive care at home nursing care enables us to look after the highest acuity and sickest patients in the community in Australia.I
This proven model of care is revolutionising health care and intensive care at a rapid speed, creating value for patients, families, ICU's/PICU's, Hospitals and funding bodies alike.
The intellectual property we have built for intensive care at home nursing services enables us to attract the best, most motivated, enthusiastic and most amazing ICU/PICU nurses.
INTENSIVE CARE AT HOME is therefore in a position to employ a team with hundreds of years ICU/PICU experience, giving us the ability to look after more and more long-term ICU/PICU Patients at home, which has been formerly unheard of until 2014 in Australia.
Here is what we do
Having a loved one in ICU/PICU long term on life support with medical complexities is a traumatic event.
Helping families to take their loved one home from an Intensive Care environment is a unique and powerful event that requires specialist skills that only few people and organisations have.
We empower and equip our clients with new awareness, opportunities, love and joy in the midst of massive challenges and we give them the precious gift of a peaceful and gentle transition to a holistic Client and family friendly home care environment, far away from the craziness of a hospital ICU/PICU environment.
Who you are
If you have a minimum of two years ICU/PICU experience and a critical care certificate(or equivalent) and you want to join a dynamic and progressive team of forward thinking ICU/PICU nurses and you think you have what it takes to provide our clients with the quality of life/quality of end of life at home instead of intensive care you have come to the right place.
