Electrify Me is expanding its commercial division and we're looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead our commercial solar and battery projects.

About the Role
As our Commercial BDM, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth in the commercial market, focusing on builders, developers, and large-scale projects. From lead generation through to tender preparation, quoting, and project handover—you'll be at the front line of Electrify Me's commercial success.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify, target, and build relationships with commercial builders, developers, and contractors.
- Tender Management: Prepare and submit tenders and proposals for commercial solar and battery projects.
- Quoting & Pricing: Accurately scope and prepare detailed quotations for commercial projects.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from initial engagement through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to deliver seamless project execution.
- Market Intelligence: Stay across industry trends, competitor activity, and government programs impacting the commercial solar sector.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales and pipeline reports to management.
About You
- Proven track record in business development, tendering, or commercial sales (solar, renewable energy, or construction preferred).
- Strong understanding of commercial project lifecycles—from tender through to delivery.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and project requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Organised and detail-oriented with project management capability.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work autonomously.
