Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operational Risk & Compliance (Investments):

• Develop and maintain the Investment team's risk profile to support strategic and regulatory objectives;
• Partner with the Investment business unit to conduct risk assessments and implement effective controls. Execute the Line 1 controls testing program which includes the completion of design effectiveness and operational effectiveness testing;
• Lead the identification, investigation, and resolution of operational incidents including internal and external audit issues;
• Lead activities that facilitate the Investment team's compliance with CPS230 by enhancing operational continuity planning;
• Deliver operational risk reporting to management and the Board.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in accounting, economics, business or equivalent
• Professional certification (eg, CFA, FRM) or member of Risk Management Institute of Australia / GRC Institute

Required experience, understanding or credentials
including
:

• Demonstrated and proven experience in operational risk and compliance management in investment management and/or superannuation
• Extensive experience and a proven track record with control testing and assurance activities
• Experience in managing multiple projects and prioritising competing deadlines
• Demonstrated 'commercial' approach to compliance risk management
• Well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with sound oral and written communications skills
