THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a safety and quality conscious Plant Mechanic to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO and DIDO opportunities available. Flights and accommodation and meal allowances will be provided.
In This Role, You Will
- Servicing and maintaining equipment and vehicles
- Maintenance record and documentation
- Plant and equipment inspections
- Attending to breakdowns
- Working on Hydraulic systems
- Perform basic automotive electrical works
About You
- Highly established attention to Safe work practices
- Australian-recognised Trade Certificate with post-trade experience
- Experience with Light and Heavy plant and equipment, hydraulic systems, and basic automotive electrical skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Ability to document and maintain traceability on all works undertaken
- Experience working with and maintaining the following types of equipment;
- Diesel EWP'S up to 135ft,
- Telehandlers,
- Buses,
- Tilt Tray's,
- Excavator,
- Skid Steer Loader,
- Scissor Lifts,
- Light Trucks,
- Light Vehicles
- Generators up to 132KVA
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Mechanical
- NSW Tradesperson Certificate License
- High-risk work License (with WP class) (desirable)
- Current Unrestricted Driver's License
- White / Blue Construction Card
