YFS are looking for a skilled Logan Project Lead who can mentor and build skills for participants to pursue work-related goals and increase their housing affordability.

The Spark Employment - Logan Project Lead, funded by the Growing Workforce Participation Fund, provides intensive mentoring and job matching to jobseekers facing housing challenges.

About the job

Role location: Slacks Creek

Role type: 12-month Fixed term, full time

Pay range: $110,462 a year/$55.72 an hour, with salary packaging exempt from Fringe Benefits Tax available

In this role you will:

  • Lead the project dedicated to improving labour market participation and retention outcomes for people impacted by homelessness and housing challenges by providing wraparound employment mentoring.
  • Provide intensive mentoring and coaching tailored to individual goals, work readiness assessments and goal planning, connection to training pathways, direct engagement with local employers and assistance to overcome immediate barriers to workforce participation.
  • Track and report on KPIs (e.g., employer engagement, jobseeker outcomes), as per the service agreement and guidelines
  • Be part of an innovative team creating opportunities for people to thrive in the workforce and community
