Binance is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DeFi Protocol Analyst with a strong background in data engineering to join our dynamic team. As a DeFi Protocol Analyst (Data Focused), you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of various DeFi protocols. You will leverage big data tools such as Spark and Flink to efficiently and structurally store parsed results into our business databases, serving our end-users. You will work closely with research and data engineering teams to provide critical insights and data support for our DeFi strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of various DeFi protocols, including lending, DEXs, yield aggregators, derivatives, and more.
  • Thoroughly understand the underlying mechanisms, smart contract code, and economic models of DeFi protocols.
  • Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to retrieve data from blockchains and DeFi protocols.
  • Design efficient data models for storing and querying parsed results from DeFi protocols.
  • Proficiently utilize big data tools such as Spark and Flink for data processing and analysis.
  • Prepare clear and concise research reports to share findings and insights with team members.
  • Actively participate in the DeFi community to stay informed about the latest trends and technological innovations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience in DeFi protocol research or development, with in-depth knowledge of the business logic, mechanics, and implementation principles of DeFi protocols such as DEXs, lending platforms, staking mechanisms, and RWA (Real World Asset) protocols.
  • At least 3 years of experience in big data development, with familiarity with offline and real-time data processing tools such as Spark and Flink.
  • Familiarity with major blockchain platforms such as Ethereum and Solana.
  • Proficiency in smart contract languages such as Solidity, Rust, and Move.
  • Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with on-chain data analysis tools such as Dune Analytics and Nansen.
  • Possess excellent logical thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to learn quickly and a passion for continuous learning to keep pace with the rapidly evolving DeFi landscape.
  • Passionate about the DeFi space.
  • Possess strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
