You'll work in an owner's engineering capacity, guiding clients through all phases of project development and execution.

How You'll Make a Difference:

  • Provide technical oversight during design, development and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements on a variety of Wind Projects across Australia.
  • Use your experience in an owner's engineer environment to provide high-quality technical input into design reviews, specifications, tender evaluations, and reporting.
  • Act as a key technical advisor within multi-disciplinary project teams, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes and project delivery frameworks.
  • Step in to help deliver AECOM's growing portfolio of large owner's engineer (OE) opportunities across Australia.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality objectives alongside supporting bids and proposals by contributing with technical input.

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil or similar) or a relevant project management qualification with an engineering background.
  • Proven project engineering experience and strong knowledge of design principles and standards in the wind energy sector — ideally 5+ years with a developer, OEM, or consultancy.
  • Experience in owner's engineering services and the ability to represent client interests on complex projects.
  • Commercial acumen and strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective client relationships and work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience with construction management or EPC contractors is advantageous.
