Team Manager – Facilities Maintenance

We're seeking a motivated and hands-on Team Manager to lead our Service Coordination team, ensuring the seamless delivery of facilities maintenance services across our client network. This role is ideal for a confident people leader with strong operational experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for the end-to-end management of facilities maintenance requests, ensuring works are allocated efficiently, KPIs are achieved, and service delivery remains exceptional. Your leadership will empower a team of Service Coordinators to deliver consistently high standards, while fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Service Coordinators.
  • Oversee end-to-end work order management — from allocation and scheduling through to completion and follow-up.
  • Drive contractual and operational KPI performance, ensuring jobs are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage client, trade, and subcontractor relationships with professionalism and care.
  • Support onboarding of new accounts and provide training for team members.
  • Analyse data, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to monthly reporting.
  • Uphold Work Health & Safety compliance and promote a safe working culture.

About You

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Facilities Management or a related service-based industry.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident using MS Office and service management systems (TSM or similar).
