About the Role:

Turramurra House Nursing Home is seeking Casual Personal Care Workers (previously known as Nursing Assistants) to join our team.

We have shifts available on weekdays: Tuesday to Thursday in the AM (start time 07:00) and PM shifts (start time: 1530).

You will be based at Turramurra House located at 34 Curagul Road, Turramurra NSW 2074.

Turramurra House is seeking Personal Care Workers to work afternoon shifts from Monday to Friday, and Wednesday night. This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking flexible work schedules and looking to join a supportive team who place a great emphasis on mentoring and training.

Daily duties:

  • Provide quality care according to the current Resident Care Plan to meet the individuals needs and enhance quality of life.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, grooming, mobility and nutrition.
  • Work in a household model of care include providing catering and dining services.
  • Contribute to care plans and documentation.
  • Can do medication duties.
  • Can Lead the NA team.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with the Nursing Team

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience in aged care desirable.
  • MUST have Cert III & Certificate IV in Nursing.
  • Demonstrates excellence in customer service and care; and
  • Has an interest in working with the elderly.
